21-23 January 2015, Utrecht University will host an international conference on  Enlightened Religion — From Confessional Churches to Polite Piety.

The conference is the concluding event of the research project: “Faultline 1700: Early Enlightenment Conversations on Religion and the State”. Jonathan Israel and Michael Driedger will deliver a concluding comment. More information on the conference, and on the project: – Anyone interested is cordially invited to attend.
